Scottie Hunter

Scottie Hunter is the anchor for 9News at Noon and the lead investigative reporter. While there he has covered a number of stories that have garnered national attention, including the death investigation of Lyntell Washington, a teacher who's body was found in a sugar cane field several days after she went missing in June 2016. Portions of his coverage were featured on the popular HLN program, Nancy Grace.

Most recently he has covered the ongoing protests surrounding the officer-involved shooting death of Alton Sterling which resulted in unrest across the country and a deep conversation about race-relations and police brutality.

Prior to that, he was a reporter at KPLC-TV in Lake Charles, LA. And a reporter/anchor at WVAS-FM in Montgomery, Alabama. He also previously covered politics for Alabama Public Television and was a reporter at WTVY-TV in Dothan, Ala.

He, his wife Jasmine and dog Bear enjoy calling Baton Rouge home.
