CPSB: Student brings pellet gun to Henry Heights Elementary

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - Henry Heights Elementary School administration confiscated a pellet gun in a student’s possession, according to Holly Holland with the Calcasieu Parish School Board.
CPSB says the situation happened on Oct. 24 and was handled quickly by school administration and CPSO in a Facebook post. See the statement below:
Holland says a phone call was sent to all of the parents at 12:50 p.m. and the statement was posted to their social media page at 1:02 p.m. If any parent didn’t receive the call, they are asked to reach out to the school to ensure their contact information is correct.
