July 6th, marks a tragic anniversary. Four years ago Friday three young people were found murdered at KK's Corner convenience store.

Family members and others participated in a candlelight vigil Friday night. It's four years since that horrible morning when the bodies of Stacie Reeves, Marty Lebouef and Nicole Guidry were found at KK's Corner.

The three young people were brutally shot in an apparent robbery. And though Tom Cisco is on death row at Angola, since being convicted of first degree murder, family members continue their quest for justice, hoping others involved will eventually be arrested.

The anniversary of the murders is a difficult day for those like Bobby Reeves, Stacie's father. He went to Lock park to get ready for the candlelight vigil, which he hopes will have a large turnout. "We want all the people that's lost loved ones in Calcasieu Parish to come out and burn a candle and remember their people. And we want the whole public to come because everybody's invited."

Meanwhile, Calcasieu sheriff's officials say their cold case homicide unit continues to work diligently to bring others to justice. Major David Wagoner, who heads the unit, says a nationally recognized law enforcement consultant is being used to review the voluminous case-- the consultant's name is being withheld for security reasons but Wagoner says it has helped bring about arrests in cases elsewhere in the nation.

But for today, KK's family members gathered with other families whose loved ones have died violent deaths. "It's to show our loved ones and the families of all the other people in Calcasieu Parish that we love our loved ones and we miss them. And there's no reason something like this should happen."

And so will family members gather to keep alive the memory of loved ones lost-- and to promote the community awareness and concern that sometimes helps to achieve justice.
