Lake Charles annual trash bash this weekend at Chennault Airport

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - Here's your chance to get that spring cleaning done and get rid of all the trash that's been piling up all winter.
The Keep the Greater Lake Charles Area Beautiful campaign is hosting a residential trash bash from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, April 22, at Chennault International Airport.
Accepted items include:
- Anti-freeze
- Batteries
- Clothing
- Sofas
- Electronic devices with a plug
- Mercury and products containing mercury
- Motor Oil
- Paint
Not accepted items include:
- 55-gallon drums
- Aerosol paint cans
- Explosives
- Asbestos materials
- Boats
- Compressed gas cylinders
- Freon Items
- Hazardous waste
- Lawn mowers
- Medical material
- PCB ballasts
- Propane tanks
- Fire/smoke detectors
- Scrap metal
- TV
- Tires
- Stain paint cans
