Cisco to Die by Lethal Injection
The verdict is death for convicted triple murderer Thomas Frank Cisco Junior. Cisco was convicted of three counts of first degree murder by a unanimous vote Tuesday.
Wednesday night, the same district court jury condemned Cisco for the deaths of two adults and a teen-ager who were shot to death in 1997 and left in the walk-in cooler at KK's Corner convenience store.
Bob Pastor, one of Cisco's attorneys, was asked his reaction to the death sentence. Pastor says it will hurt the chances of ever finding the others involved. "I think it's sad not only for Tommy and his family but I think it's sad for the victims as well and their families. Because I know then they will never have true justice."
Both the convictions and sentences, which will be formally imposed November 3rd, carry an automatic appeal to the Louisiana supreme court. The victims were store employees Marty Lebouef and Stacey Reeves, and Reeves' baby sitter, teen-aged Nicole Guidry, who had dropped by the store to accompany Reeves home.
Police said robbery was the motive and that between seven-thousand and 11-thousand dollars was taken from the store the night of the killing.
