Juvenile shot in hand during disturbance in Lake Charles, deputies say

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating after a juvenile was shot Friday night during a disturbance in Lake Charles.

Deputies say they responded around 8 p.m. to a call on Lake Fairway Drive. When they arrived, deputies learned a juvenile victim had been shot in the hand.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.

CPSO says so far, no arrests have been made.

The investigation is ongoing.
