BRFD extinguish vehicle fire on 1-12 East

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The Baton Rouge Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on 1-12 East before Airline Highway shortly before 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 11.

The right lane was temporarily blocked as crews quickly worked to put out the flames.

There is currently no word on the cause of the fire.

All lanes are now open and congestion remains minimal.
