Authorities searching for hit and run suspect that drove through yards and started fire

Sulphur police say one person was killed and another injured in an overnight shooting in the 600 block of W. Verdine Street, between N. Claiborne Street and N. Crocker Street. Neighbors told KPLC they heard shots around midnight last night and saw a man lying on the ground.
