Good Samaritans save driver from burning vehicle on La. 108

CARLYSS, LA (KPLC) - Two individuals, one from Washington and the other from Texas, saved a driver's life on La. 108 Thursday morning.

Derrick Ryan, of Washington state, and Mr. Solis Jacinto III, of Texas, pulled the driver out while the vehicle was still on fire, according to the Carlyss Fire Department's Facebook page.

Carlyss Fire Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Hwy 108 this morning. Witness called 911, and managed to pull the driver out of the vehicle, while it was on fire. The first engine arrived, conducted a fast attack on the fire. According to Captain Clopton, Mr. Derrick Ryan of Washington state, and Mr. Solis Jacinto III of Texas, did some quick thinking and pulled the driver out before the vehicle was fully involved, saving the driver.
