I-10 westbound now closed at Louisana-Texas border

VINTON, LA (KPLC) - I-10 westbound is closed at the Louisiana-Texas border. Eastbound remains open.
The closure is due to flooding on the Sabine River.
Sgt. James Anderson, with Louisiana State Police Troop D, says I-10 is closed at mile post 4, the Toomey/Starks exit. Anderson says the official detour route is I-20.
Earlier, TXDOT announced that I-10 motorists should be looking at alternate routes into Louisiana.
