Plane catches on fire at DeQuincy Airport, no injuries

DEQUINCY, LA (KPLC) - A plane caught fire about 4 p.m. Tuesday at the DeQuincy Industrial Airpark.
DeQuincy Fire Chief Johnny Copeland said the small Cessna had just landed to drop off a passenger.
It was parked when the engine sparked and caught fire, he said. Workers tried to extinguish it but it was soon fully engulfed.
There were no injuries.
It took DeQuincy firefighters about 20 minutes to extinguish.
