Four charged with theft of helicopter windows from veterans memorial

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - Four people have been arrested after Lake Charles Police responded to a report of theft at Veterans Memorial Park late Tuesday night.

According to investigators, the subjects removed four windows from the helicopter on display at the park, located at 400 North Lakeshore Drive in Lake Charles.

While still at the scene, officers observed a vehicle matching the suspect's description heading north on Lakeshore Drive. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle, and the subjects were arrested after the windows were discovered inside the vehicle.

Arrested on charges of theft and criminal trespassing were: 18-year-old Reagan Kayne Kirkman of Ragley, 19-year-old Gabriel Paul Jones of Ragley, 17-year-old David Allen Ryan Guillory of Ragley and 21-year-old Forrest Alexander Moses of Westlake.
