McNeese supports victims of Nepal earthquake

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - McNeese State University will host an event at noon on Thursday in the quad to show solidarity with the victims of the Nepal earthquake.

McNeese Stands with Nepal is free and open to the public. Donations will be collected by the McNeese Foundation for the Nepali community.

There are about 80 students from Nepal enrolled at McNeese State University. No fatalities have been reported among family members of those students, but they have all been affected by the earthquake.
