WESTLAKE, LA (KPLC) - The Westlake Recreational Complex prepared for another American Idol viewing party on Wednesday, April 25.
The community piled into the rec center to support Joshua Ledet, a hometown hero, and get everyone to vote for him.
The Managan Center provided free food, door prizes and wifi for those who came to support Ledet.
Ledet sang Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and India Arie's "Ready for Love."
The finalists were required to sing a Queen classic and a song of their own choice.
There are three different ways to vote for the Idol contestant: Call the assigned number after his performance, text to vote, or vote online.
Tune into 7News Nightcast for full coverage of the viewing party and Josh's performance.
