LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - All eyes this off-season have been on the McNeese State quarterbacks as the team tries to replace four year starter Derrick Fourroux.

Head Coach Matt Viator says he hopes to name the new starter after Saturday's scrimmage at 9:40 am.

Jacob Bower, a transfer from Tulsa, took the first team snaps in the team's first fall scrimmage, but Viator insists that no decision has been made yet.

The Cowboys held their annual Media Day on Sunday afternoon and return to the practice field on Monday morning.
