Pendland picks up another award

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - McNeese State senior running back, Toddrick Pendland, has been named to his second All-American team today.

This time being named a Sports Network Third Team All-American.  Pendland was also named to the Associated Press' All-American team earlier this off season.

The senior led the nation in scoring in 2009, with 118 points.  Despite missing a game and a part of three others, Pendland led the Cowboys with 992 yards rushing and 19 touchdowns.  He also was a threat through the air with 27 receptions for 237 yards and a touchdown.

He also holds McNeese's career record for touchdowns scored with 46.

Pendland was also named a first team running back in the Louisiana Sports Writers Association's All-Louisiana football team.
