Sydney Roberts

Reporter / Producer

Sydney Roberts moved from her hometown of Dallas, Texas to join KPLC as a Sunrise Producer in January 2019. She graduated from Louisiana State University in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication.

During her time at LSU, Sydney worked as a sports reporter, producer and anchor for Tiger Television, LSU’s student-run news station. She also interned with the sports team at WAFB, KPLC’S sister station in Baton Rouge, where she gained experience and a passion for storytelling.

Sydney is excited to be back in the state of Louisiana, and in Lake Charles to tell exciting, interesting and important stories in the community.

In her free time, Sydney enjoys working out, spending time with family and friends, watching movies and, of course, cheering on the LSU Tigers.
