Biskie Duncan

Biskie Duncan is the newest addition to the KSLA morning team, but she's definitely not new to the area! Biskie and her husband Josh moved to Louisiana from Tennessee after her husband was stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base in 2014.

Chances are you've come across Biskie in many different places! In her time in Shreveport-Bossier, she has worked every single shift on The River 957, and became the program director of the station for several years, and helped create fun events like an Elvis-themed party, adult proms, and major movie debuts. She also moonlighted as Lady B on the weekends for their sister station, 98 Rocks.

From there, Biskie made the jump from radio to television. She hosted and grew a lifestyle show, Loving Living Local, and found fresh, entertaining ways to highlight all of the best organizations, non-profits, and events the community has to offer!

Anyone who has met Biskie knows that she loves the community, but her real passion is animals. She frequently volunteers and does donation drives to help the local shelters and rescues in the area. Biskie has three fur kiddos of her own that are all rescues, and completely spoiled (as they should be)! Dottie the dog, and Khan and Minnie the cats definitely run the Duncan household.

You'll almost always find Biskie at the Shreveport Farmers' Market when it's in season, buying the best fresh produce to use for one of her favorite past times: cooking! Biskie loves to cook, bake, and watch tons of cooking shows. Another bonus of being at the market is she can talk to the farmers and get ideas for her own garden, which has taken over the back yard.

In between the cooking, gardening, and snuggling furry friends, you can catch Biskie on air from 4:30 to 7 a.m., and again at 9 a.m. on KSLA News 12.
