Joy Hollowell
Morning Anchor/Reporter
Bangor, ME

Joy moved to Maine in 2000 from Great Falls, Montana.
In Montana Joy spent several years anchoring and reporting for KFBB. She graduated from the University of Southern California and went on to work at the Los Angeles bureau of CNN. While there, Joy helped to cover the O.J. Simpson criminal and civil trials, Malibu wildfires, and Northridge Earthquake. She also interviewed a number of celebrities and well known political leaders, including Charlton Heston and Henry Kissinger. She grew up on eastern Long Island, New York and if you listen carefully, you’ll still catch a bit of her accent.
Joy enjoys greeting viewers every weekday morning as the co-anchor of the TV5 Morning News. Joy says it’s the best of both worlds because she gets to combine her passion for journalism and spending time to her two teenage boys.
