New McNeese Student Union now open for public events

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - There’s a new addition on campus at McNeese State University. The Elizabeth and Leslie Richard Student Union is now available to be reserved by the public for events. We spoke with Stanley Alexander this morning to get the details.

The new student union complex has been offering students and staff a more modernized cafeteria, collaborative spaces, offices, and a large event space this year. But now, it is being made available for public and private events, meetings, receptions, corporate events, and more!

The new Memorial Ballroom offers approximately 10,000 square feet of space!

To reserve a space at the new student union or any of the other rentable spaces that the university offers, you can fill out a request and track pricing online HERE.
