Police investigating deadly shooting at Lake Charles seawall

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - A homicide investigation is currently underway at the seawall near the Lake Charles Event Center, police say.
Lake Charles Police Department was called to the scene around 6 a.m. Sunday. Upon arrival, police found one person dead who had been shot.
Officers have blocked off the area from behind the amphitheater to the fountain on the north side of the event center property.
