Tickets now available for City of Lake Charles’ 16th Annual Patriot’s Ball

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Tickets are now available for the City of Lake Charles’ 16th Annual Patriot’s Ball, hosted by Mayor and Mrs. Nicholas E. Hunter and the City of Lake Charles Mayor’s Armed Forces Commission (MAFC). The ball is the main fundraising event for MAFC, which supports area veterans, patriotic projects, and activities.

The event is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, in the Grand Ballroom at L’Auberge Casino Resort which is located at 777 Avenue L’Auberge.

The ball will begin with a social hour with dinner following at 6 p.m.

MAFC will honor four individuals from Southwest Louisiana for their patriotic service to the community including:

• Civilian Patriot of the Year
• Emergency Responder Patriot of the Year
• Military Patriot of the Year
• As well as a posthumous Patriot of the Year

DJ Leauxcal will provide music following the presentations.

During the evening’s events, Miss Armed Forces 2024 will be introduced who will represent Lake Charles’ Red, White, Blue, and You and the Mayor’s Armed Forces Commission at events, festivals, and fairs across the state. Miss Armed Forces 2024 was recently selected at a pageant held on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

Tickets are now available for purchase at the CHRISTUS Ochsner SWLA Foundation located on the CHRISTUS Ochsner Lake Area Hospital campus at 5200 Nelson Rd., Bldg. J.
