FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KPLC) - Former Washington-Marion standout Christian Edwards continues to shine on the collegiate track as the Alabama triple jumper helped the Crimson Tide to a seventh-place finish at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark. Saturday.

Edwards took fourth in the triple jump with a leap of 54-6 (16.61m), which is the second-longest of his career behind the 54-7.25 (16.64m) leap at the 2021 SEC Championships. Edwards now holds the second and third-longest jumps in Alabama history.

Edwards’ fourth-place finish is also the Tide’s best in the triple jump since 2002.
