15-year-old dies after stabbing at Walmart on La. 14

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to homicide that occurred at Walmart on La. 14 at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 23.

According to CPSO spokesperson Kayla Vincent, there was a fight between several young girls inside the store, at which time a 15-year-old was stabbed. The victim, succumbing to her injuries.

According to Vincent, the suspect is a 13-year-old girl who is now in custody.

According to Chief Deputy Stitch Guillory, the incident possibly started at a movie theatre and ended at Walmart on La. 14.

More arrest are possible as Guillory alluded to someone possibly helping the suspect evade the scene.
