18-wheeler fire causing traffic on I-10 E near Lacassine

LACASSINE, La. (KPLC) - An 18-wheeler that caught fire this morning is causing some traffic congestion on I-10 East near the Hwy 101 exit, according to Louisiana State Police Troop D.

The fire has been extinguished and there are no reports of any injuries.

Traffic is down to one lane as authorities work to clear the 18-wheeler.

The right lane remains blocked I-10 East at LA 101 due to vehicle recovery. Congestion remains at one mile in length.
