Lake Charles city leaders are still deciding on their plan when it comes to hosting parades during a pandemic.
Some Krewe organizers say it can take up to a whole year to get the ball rolling for events like these, but plans can be drawn up fast if necessary.
Parade-goers in the city say it’s better to be safe than sorry when it comes to hosting large-scale events during a global pandemic.
Some Lake Charles Krewes say they are still working to plan their balls and design their floats.
Others, like the Krewe of Contraband, have cancelled their ball this year.
