JENNINGS, La. (KPLC) - A Jennings man has been arrested after a set of stolen power tools were found to have been sold to a local pawn shop, according to the Jeff Davis Sheriff’s Office.

Chief Deputy Christopher Ivey says Morgan Paul LeJeune, 32, of Jennings was arrested for illegal possession of stolen things after a set of power tools that had been stolen from a home were found to have been pawned at Chad’s Pawn in Jennings.

The Sheriff’s Office says LeJeune was previously arrested on Oct. 20, 2020 for possession of stolen firearms that have also been pawned.

Detectives are currently trying to locate other items that they believe were also in LeJeune’s possession that may have been sold.

The Jeff Davis Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information related to items sold by LeJeune to contact them at 337-821-2106.
