LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Stine has announced an additional one-time “Pat-On-The-Back” payment for their employees.
Full-time employees will receive $250 and part-time employees will be given $125. All employees will receive their payout on August 14.
Stine offered their “Pat-On-The-Back” initiative back in March, as employees that worked during the stay-at-home order received a temporary wage increase of $2 per hour.
The additional payout comes after a sharp increase of COVID-19 cases in the state.
“The last few months have been trying on our associates,” said Dennis Stine, CEO of Stine Home & Yard. “The Stine family, leadership team, and I are grateful for all of their hard work and dedication to our customers and the communities they serve during these stressful times.”
“We continue to work to keep our team members and customers safe by following all of the CDC safety guidelines. Our associates have done an incredible job of following these safety guidelines. Their work is incredibly important and we are deeply appreciative for what they do for our communities.”
