LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - The Hackett’s building on La. 14 has been purchased by another business that knows a thing or two about boudin.
Georges Homsi confirms that Homsi’s Deli has purchased the Hackett’s building.
While Homsi hasn’t given information about the plans, he confirmed that renovations are underway.
Hackett’s, known for its boudin and its rice-and-gravy plate lunches, closed in May.
