LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - UL Lafayette assistant football coach D.J. Looney passes away Saturday morning after suffering a heart attack at the Cajuns football practice.

Looney was 31, entering his third season on the Ragin’ Cajuns staff. His duties were with the offensive line.

The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns Department of Athletics put out a tweet addressing the loss earlier on Saturday,
