Jennings police investigating home invasion, assault with a firearm on Gallup Street

JENNINGS, La. (KPLC) - Jennings police are investigating a home invasion and assault on Gallup Street this afternoon, authorities said.
The incident happened around 3:45 p.m., Police Chief Danny Semmes said. A firearm recovered at the scene was found to be stolen.
Semmes said police have a suspect and an arrest warrant has been issued for home invasion and aggravated assault with a firearm.
