Jennings High School to retire Travis Etienne’s jersey on Friday

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Jennings High School will retire former football player Travis Etienne’s jersey before the Bulldogs’ second-round playoff game with Church Point on Friday.

The now Clemson running back was a force on Friday nights with the Bulldogs as he rushed for 7,518 rushing yards in 42 career games. Etienne scored 115 touchdowns for Jennings and left school as a four-star prospect.

The jersey retirement ceremony is set for 6:40 p.m.
