LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - A Miami man accused of raping a woman at a 6th Avenue home has been indicted on a charge of first-degree rape.

Bryan Rodriguez Echevarria, 22, is accused of forcing his way into the woman’s home before raping her on Aug. 19, 2019. Authorities say he was arrested committing a burglary while still in the area.

Rodriguez Echevarria is being held at Calcasieu Correctional Center.
