LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Our area is seeing heavy rainfall due to Tropical Depression Imelda. The storm has drenched Southeast Texas, flooding homes and closing I-10.

2:36 p.m.: Flight 4316 out of Lake Charles to Houston is canceled. Flights will resume tomorrow for Houston.

2:40 p.m.: A viewer sent us this from 10:30 a.m. on Leo Breaux Road in Vinton. A Calcasieu Parish rain gauge shows 9.46 inches has fallen at Bess Branch at Alligator Park. Click HERE to view rain totals in the parish.

1:46 p.m.: Friday night’s football game between Central Catholic and Vinton has been canceled.

12:43 p.m.: Tornado damage reported on Johnny Benoit Road and Everett Vincent Drive in Cameron. No injuries reported. An unoccupied camper was flipped and another damaged. Trees are also down.

12:07 p.m.: We just spoke with KPLC viewer Phil Legros, a Jeff Davis resident. He has been stuck on I-10 in Texas since 4 a.m.

11:06 a.m.: Vinton Elementary, Vinton Middle, Vinton High, and Starks High are closing at 11:30 today. School buses will be returning to campus to transport students, and all other students will be dismissed at that time.

11 a.m.: Tornado warning in Hackberry until 11:30 a.m.

10:54 a.m.: Tornado warning issued for Southwest Calcasieu and Northeast Calcasieu. The warning is near Hackberry.

10:18 a..m.: The I-10 westbound exit at Toomey/Starks has closed due to the flooding in Texas, according to Sgt. James Anderson, with Louisiana State Police.

10 a.m.: Bush Airport in Houston has announced that due to weather in their area the airport is at a full ground stop.

9:52 a.m.: There is a Tornado Warning for Calcasieu Parish near the Carlyss area in effect until 10:15 a.m.

9:00 a.m.: There is a Flash Flood Warning in effect for the Lake Charles and Sulphur area until 12:45 p.m.

The Tornado Warning for Cameron Parish has been canceled.
