WESTLAKE, La. (KPLC) - Three people have been arrested after an armed robbery in Westlake, Police Chief Chris Wilrye said.

The Westlake Police Department was called to a local hotel in reference to a person being robbed at gunpoint in an elevator by two subjects, on Thursday.

Wilrye said that one of the suspects pulled a handgun from his pocket and demanded money from the victim. The victim complied and wasn’t injured.

Officers learned that the suspects, Jarvis J. Pierre Jr., 17, of Lake Charles, and a 16-year-old juvenile male went to meet with Montrise Cain, 17, of Lake Charles, at the hotel.

Peirre and Montrise were booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and the juvenile was booked into the juvenile detention center.

Wilrye said Pierre faces one count of armed robbery, armed robbery with use of a firearm, possession of marijuana, possession of heroin, possession of crack cocaine, and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

Montrise faces resisting an officer, accessory to armed robbery, accessory to armed robbery with a firearm, and accessory to felony theft.

The juvenile faces one count of armed robbery and armed robbery with the use of a firearm.
