When detectives spoke with the victim he stated that his girlfriend, Jamie A. Briggs, 41, was arguing with him in the home and that during the argument he tried to hide his handgun from her. He said this led to a fight between the two where the victim threw the handgun and fled the home but that when he got in his truck to leave Briggs shot at him with the gun hitting the truck’s door, window, and windshield.

The victim suffered minor injuries from debris from the broken window in the truck.

In speaking with Briggs detectives say she confirmed that they had been in a fight and admitted to firing the gun at him.
