CPSO seeks public’s help locating accused armed robbery suspect

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - Police are looking for a suspect accused of armed robbery, according to Kim Myers, spokesperson for the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office.

CPSO responded to a call concerning an armed robber at a convenience store on Sam Houston Parkway on Jan. 28 at 12:40 a.m., says Myers. After investigating, CPSO found that the suspect went into the store with a firearm and demanded money from the clerk.

Myers says after the suspect received the cash, the suspect fled the store on foot in an unknown direction. The suspect is described as a man wearing what appeared to be a white bathrobe, blue shirt, gray sweatpants, gloves, and a blue towel covering his head.

CPSO is also looking for the person driving the blue Nissan Versa captured from surveillance. Detectives believe the driver may have information on the suspect.
