Senior Citizen Lunch & Learn

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - An event to help senior citizens in Calcasieu Parish who have questions about Medicare will be held in Lake Charles today.
Triad and the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury will host a “Lunch and Learn” workshop with tips from Bonnie Lee of Humana Insurance is the featured guest speaker.
She will explain the different types of Medicare coverage and supplement plans, tips on reducing out-of-pocket expenses and the latest scams.
More than 800,000 Louisiana residents are currently enrolled in Medicare.
The workshop will be held at the Allen P. August Annex building on Moeling Street in Lake Charles from 10 a.m. - noon.
