NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Ticket prices for Sunday’s playoff game against the Eagles are through the roof. Whether fans are going to the game or not, people are trying to find other ways to display their loyalty.

They are some of the most coveted pieces of paper in New Orleans right now, and prices on Stub Hub are proof. If you don’t have a ticket and want to be in the Dome on Sunday, ticket exchanges are a good way to go. Tickets to the Saints playoff game against the Eagles are being offered for between $570 and $1,000 for the upper terrace sections, all the way up to $1,300 for club seats.

“I would pay $500, but hopefully someone will give me tickets,” said fan Linda Pessin.

Though some tickets are available on Stub Hub for as “little” as $570, for the ultimate fan experience you will have to spend a whole lot more. Stub Hub offers a luxury for $100,000, the price of a small home.

Whether watching on FOX 8, or headed to the game, many Saints fans will likely want to get the right gear for the game. Area stores are stocked.

“We just got in “Tchoupa style”...and “Stay Golden,” but my all-time favorite is "Captain Kamarica,” said Brandi Hebert with the Fleurty Girl store.

Following some lean years after Katrina, people heading to the Dome on Sunday now have a great deal of choice when it comes to pre-game partying.

“We have had a great crowd for game day so far, and we are expecting more for playoff season,” said Lydia Kurkoski.

Saints fans hope for a repeat Sunday of their earlier encounter with the Eagles in week 11, when New Orleans pounded Philadelphia, 48-7.

“Hopefully what they did last time - a big win,” said Pessin.

Longtime Saints fans are urging those selling tickets to try and sell them to other Saints fans.

Though many will take the profit, they still hope that the loud “Dome field” advantage isn’t compromised by sales to Eagles fans.
