LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - The Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office reports that Erick Gale Gragg of Sulphur has been found guilty of aggravated crimes against nature following a week long trial.

The charge came from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office’s investigation into allegations that Gragg sexually abused a minor in a home near Sulphur over several years.

Gragg still has other charges of sexual abuse of children pending.

The prosecutor, Asistant District Attorney Denisse Parrales, says, “I’m only happy that we were able to provide some modicum relief for the victim and the family in this case.”

Sentencing for this conviction is set for February 8, 2019.
