School Lunch Menus 

 August 25-29

   (NOTE: Menus are provided by the school systems. Not all schools follow these menus)







MONDAY: Barbecue rib on whole wheat bun, sweet potato fries, sandwich salad cup and sliced pears. 

TUESDAY: Beef and gravy over rice, green beans, spiced apples, and whole wheat roll. 

WEDNESDAY: Baked chicken, broccoli, sweet potato puff, orange slices and whole wheat roll. 

THURSDAY: Beef burrito on whole wheat tortilla, Spanish brown rice, red beans, fiesta salad and fresh apple.

 FRIDAY: Chili dog, potato rounds, sandwich salad cup, applesauce and graham crackers.


MONDAY: Chicken nuggets, tossed salad, whole kernel corn, pineapple tidbits and sliced bread. 

TUESDAY: taco salad, cheese cup, ranch beans, fruit cocktail, tortilla chips and sliced bread. 

WEDNESDAY: Fish strips, macaroni and cheese, broccoli florets, sweet potato fries and apple wedges. 

THURSDAY: Barbecue chicken, seasoned rice, fresh baby carrots, lima beans, fresh fruit cup and sliced wheat bread. 

FRIDAY: Chicken salad, sweet potatoes, green beans, chilled pear halves and sliced whole wheat bread.


MONDAY: Spaghetti, green beans, applesauce and garlic bread or roll. 

TUESDAY: Chicken fried beef steak, macaroni and cheese, cucumber and broccoli with creamy dip, and orange wedges. 

WEDNESDAY: Soft shell tacos, Mexican beans and fruit cocktail. 

THURSDAY: Oven fried chicken with rice and gravy, navy beans, glazed carrots and apple slices.

 FRIDAY: Chicken nuggets, fries, tossed dark greens salad, mixed fruit cup and sugar cookie.


MONDAY: Chicken stew over rice, corn, green beans, cup of fruit and roll.

 TUESDAY: Cheeseburger, fries, and cup of fruit. 

WEDNESDAY: Lasagna, lettuce and tomato salad, cup of fruit and Texas toast. 

THURSDAY: Red beans, rice and sausage, steamed broccoli, cup of fruit and cornbread. 

FRIDAY: Shrimp poppers, cheesy Rotini, buttered carrots, peas, fruit and roll.


MONDAY: Chopped barbecue chicken on a bun or barbecue riblette on a bun, fries, coleslaw, orange wedges, sherbet and salad bar. 

TUESDAY: Confetti soup or grilled cheese sandwich, broccoli salad, buttered sliced carrots, banana, sugar cookie, Italian garlic roll and salad bar. 

WEDNESDAY: Chicken nuggets or barbecue chicken, brown rice pilaf, field peas, cantaloupe, salad bar and hot roll. 

THURSDAY: Chicken and sausage gumbo or cheeseburger, rice, vegetable juice, baked sweet potato with apples, saltine crackers and salad bar. FRIDAY: grilled cheese sandwich or corn dog, vegetable soup, cucumbers, cauliflower and carrot sticks with ranch dressing, apple wedges and salad bar.
