(Lake Charles, Louisiana)-CHRISTUS St. Patrick Hospital has received the Silver Level Louisiana Hospital Quality Award, presented by Louisiana Health Care Review, Inc. (LHCR), the Medicare quality improvement organization for Louisiana.
With this award, CHRISTUS St. Patrick Hospital has been recognized for improving the quality of medical care delivered to heart attack and congestive heart failure patients treated at the facility.
"We use proven, evidence-based practices to assure that consistent medical care is given to all patients," says Bernard Leger, CHRISTUS St. Patrick Hospital Administrator. CHRISTUS St. Patrick is one of thirty-one (31) hospitals in the state to earn the Louisiana Hospital Quality Silver Level Award. The award is based on select criteria and measured improvements in specified clinical areas.
