30 Minute Barbecue Beef Stew

2 lb boneless sirloin steak cut about 3/4" thick

1 T. cooking oil

ground pepper to taste

8 small to medium potatoes, diced

3/4 cup bottled barbecue sauce, not smoked

1 10 ½ oz can condensed French onion soup

1 14 ½ can diced tomatoes

1 16 oz can cut green beans

1 16 oz can sliced carrots

1 14 oz can baby lima beans and/or corn

Brown beef in cooking oil over medium heat, Stir occasionally. Boil diced potatoes until barely tender. Drain drippings from beef. Stir in barbecue sauce. Add soup and vegetables. Add cooked potatoes and stir gently. Pour in Dutch oven and simmer on low heat for 15 - 20 minutes. 8 servings
