Jennings police serve search warrant, arrest 3 on multiple charges

JENNINGS, LA (KPLC) - Officers in Jennings have arrested three people on multiple charges while serving a search warrant, according to a Facebook post by the Jennings Police Department.

Investigators served a search warrant in search of Brannon Deshotel, who had felony warrants for the charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and aggravated assault with a firearm.

During the search officers located two other weapons inside the residence, one of which was learned to be stolen. Officers arrested Kendall Knight on the charges of a stolen firearm.

Officers received information Deshotel was at a residence on Sheridan Street. Upon arriving at Sheridan St. officers came in contact with Stacey Williams Jr., who was found to be in possession of a stolen handgun, marijuana packaged for sale, crack cocaine, and items used in the distribution of narcotics. Williams was arrested on multiple firearm and narcotics charges.

Deshotel was located at a local casino and arrested on his warrant along with the stolen firearm at his residence.
