CAMERON PARISH, LA (KPLC) - Starting Monday, July 30, U.S. 27 near milepost 69.5 will be alternating lane closures in Hackberry, according to the Cameron Parish Police Jury.

Due to use of flagmen, the roadway will be reduced to one lane between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. until August 12, CPJ says. The closure is necessary for roadway and drainage improvements along U.S. 27.

CPJ says traffic will be maintained in both directions, however, motorists can expect delays through the work zone during this period.

During the closure times, the roadway width will be reduced to 15 feet. Oversized loads are cautioned to take an alternate route.
