Rivals recruiting announced on Monday, Baton Rouge native Derek Stingley, Jr. as the No. 1 prospect in the country. Stingley is 6-foot-1, 195-pound cornerback at Dunham High. He's a class of 2019 prospect.

This the first time in the Rivals recruiting rankings that a cornerback garners the top overall spot.
Stingley is a one-time LSU commitment. Stingley currently has three schools vying for his services: Florida, Texas, and the Tigers. He'll announce his choice of school on June 20th.
