NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

New Orleans is on track to host it's eleventh Super Bowl, and while it's the only city bidding for the 2024 game, that doesn't mean it's a done deal.

Manning's Manager Ryan Haro said the last time New Orleans hosted the Super Bowl, it was one of their biggest money makers.

“Business extremely picks up, besides for the city, for us. People want to be a part of it, and we're in the heart of it," Haro said. "Hosting Super Bowl really puts us over the edge as far as business and triples us in that capacity.”

So it's not a surprise Haro is one of many people hopeful the city will host the Super Bowl again.

Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation President Jay Cicero said bringing the big event to town will be up to the NFL owners, but for this bid, they'll have less impact than in years past.

“In the past we were able to send the owners sales pieces and creative boxes that would hopefully influence them to vote favorably for New Orleans ahead of time," Cicero said. "There's none of that now. There's no feedback from the owners.”

Cicero said Wednesday’s closed-door meeting will be all about business and the bottom line. He said the NFL already knows what the city has to offer in terms of entertainment, hospitality and walkability. But for privacy reasons, he couldn't elaborate on what's included in the presentation that Gayle Benson and Saints President Dennis Lauscha will make Wednesday morning.

“She’s going to be speaking owner-to-owner, so that's very important, and that's a whole part of this process is the owners have the vote and Mrs.Benson is going to be making the final pitch for us, and hopefully she’s going to bring it home to Louisiana where it belongs,” Cicero said.

Even though it's the only city being considered, New Orleans shouldn't be doing a touchdown dance for the 2024 Super Bowl deal just yet.

“The anxiety is they haven't seen anything yet, and when you get in this room and make a bid and presentation to these owners for the first time, we don’t know what’s going to happen,” Cicero said.

Cicero said we will likely know if New Orleans will host Super Bowl LVIII by midday Wednesday midday.

If awarded, he said they will start the fundraising and planning immediately.
