Javonte Landry, 22, Lake Charles, LA: Possession of a controlled dangerous substance, schedule I, illegal carrying of weapons, 1st offense, operating vehicle while license is suspended.

Lucas Doman, 43, Sulphur, LA: Possession of a controlled dangerous substance, schedule II, prohibited acts; drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana; 1st offense.

Rysean Jackson, 18, Lake Charles, LA: produce, manufacture, distribute or possess with intent schedule I Narcotic, Illegal carrying of weapons, during commission of a crime or in presence of CDS, registration; commercial vehicles; expired plate, prohibited acts; drug paraphernalia.

Lavar Miles, 28, Lake Charles, LA: Three counts Attempt simple burglary, resisting an officer, possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies.

Russell Mearse, 48, Starks, LA: Possession of a controlled dangerous substance, schedule I, criminal trespass.

Christopher Lewis, 59, Lake Charles, LA: Sale, distribution, or possession of legend drug without prescription or order prohibited; exceptions; penalties, prohibited acts; drug paraphernalia.

Denise Autherment, 51, Vinton, LA: Direct contempt of court, probation violation.

Gregory Hipps, 55, Panama City, FL: Domestic abuse battery.

Nicolas Matthew, 20, Iowa, LA: Probation detainer.

Deantae Taylor, 21, Lake Charles, LA: Theft of goods under $500, theft less than $1,000, domestic abuse battery, entry on or remaining in places or on land after being forbidden, possession of synthetic marijuana, resisting an officer by refusal to I.D., theft les than $1,000.

Letitia Martin, 26, Lafayette, LA: Following vehicles, attempted mirrors, poss. with intent to distribute schedule II, prohibited acts schedule V.

Craig Thomas, 47, Lake Charles, LA: Three direct contempt of court.

    The suspect in a homicide in Topsy has been captured by authorities in Jefferson County, Texas, according to Chief Deputy Christopher Ivey.  David Wade Clark, 28, was the main suspect in the Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff's Office investigation into the death of Devin Marc Sanders on August 10, 2018, in Topsy, Louisiana. Just before noon on Aug. 14, the Lake Charles Police Department found Clark's truck in the Big Lots parking lot on Highway 14, said Ivey.  ...

    The Lake Charles Police Department is investigating a shooting at the Place Vendome Apartments, according to Lt. Harrell. Harrell says there is one victim.
