HAPPENING TODAY: 'Moscow Nights' to perform at McNeese

McNeese State University’s Counseling Center and Health Services will sponsor educational programming on campus during Alcohol Awareness Week that runs from February 26-March 2. LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) -

Russia folklore will be the topic of conversation at McNeese. 
"Moscow Nights" and the "Golden Gates Dancers" tour the U.S. together and perform songs and dances of Russian and Georgian folklore. 
The groups will perform Thursday, March 15 at 7:00 p.m. in the F.G. Buller Auditorium on the campus of McNeese. 
Tickets are $20 for adults. All McNeese and SWELA students can enter for free with a student I.D.

A pop-up afternoon shower is possible, but remains unlikely. Most of the area should remain dry and hot. Highs are expected to reach the 90s by this afternoon with heat indices in the 100-105 range.
