Black History Month lecture to be held at Carnegie library

The City of Lake Charles will be hosting a lecture on Black History Month as part of an ongoing series.

The Lake Charles Leadership Team for Community Diversity and Inclusion will host the lecture at 11:30 a.m. on Wed. Feb. 21, at the Carnegie Memorial Library.

Dr. Michael T. Snowden, Chief Diversity Officer at McNeese State University, will be the guest speaker. The title of Dr. Snowden's presentation will be "Black History: Celebrating the Pride, Pageantry, and Perseverance."
